I just have to share a little story about my favorite little sister, Maria. She's supposed to get married in August to Jon, a wonderfully-perfect-for-her guy. Guess where she's ordered her dress from? Yes, the little bridal shop of horrors: Lori's Bridal in Cold Spring. I went with her to look at dresses last fall - the one she ordered is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. She paid for it awhile back and much to her dismay the dress was never even ordered. (We're assuming she can kiss her money goodbye...) Well, she sent some people an email update last week and one of her good friends in South Dakota rallied some support and suggested we all chip in and help pay for her dress the second time around. Bingo, bango, bongo - just under 24 hours later and everyone offered so much money that we easily paid for the dress and gave her extra for shoes, jewelry, whatever. It was incredible to see how quickly it all happened. Just wanted to share that little warm fuzzy!
