frightful (and wicked cold and nasty). So for all of our "e-friends", here's what our Christmas photo looked like. Not so bad for a non-smiling 4 year old and a squirrely 18 month old! We had a very nice break but now reality's slowly sinking in... going to work, setting an alarm clock, that sort of thing. Oh well, can't complain that much. We're all happy and healthy at the start of a brand new year!

Spencer spent like 45 minutes on Christmas eve playing with these coasters. Toys are over-rated in his world right now.

So last Tuesday it snowed like 14" in Little Falls - it was the same time that our friends Mike, Kate & their dog, Bark stayed for a couple of days. I think altogether we spent almost 4 hours outside that day - fun times. Great to have you guys visit... as usual!

Brynn would spend hours outside if we let her. This photo is from the day it snowed like crazy but today she was out shoveling with me in a -20 degree windchill for about an hour. The temperature doesn't even phase her.

Poor Spencer and Bark stayed inside for most of the time - I think we would have lost Bark in those huge snow piles. And Spencer just isn't much for going outside these days, it just isn't always worth the work. He despises his bulky jacket and all the other winter gear. Reminds me of A Christmas Story... "Ralphie, Ralphie!" :)
