Fifties & Farms

The Addy awards (for the Central MN Advertising Federation) were last night and it was a swanky 50's theme. The magazine we put together at work, IQ, won two silvers for a couple of article layouts our designers put together. It was a good time - nice to get out of the house and have some adult conversation (and drinks!). I lucked out and found a waitressy type dress at the Salvation Army the day before. Added some shiny black shoes and accessories, a pair of authentic glasses and called it a day!

Michelle, me & Megan...

Me & Andrea.

My Dad's has 18 lambs now, with more on the way.

Then Brynn, her friend, Jordyn, and I stayed overnight at my parents, it's always nice to have some "farm time"!

Eddie!!

Here's Jordyn feeding an apple to Durango, my niece's mustang.

The girls got really interested when my dad told them about the shrew he found in one of the feed bins. Then they went out looking for it. :)

"Ah! Ah!!" (that's "up" in Spencer speak).

Brynn's been into wearing her fairy outfit lately. I have a hard time just getting it off to eat dinner!
